I have had the privilege of working with people from all over the world in individual therapy, workshops and in meditation and therapeutic retreats over the last 30+ years. I have been based in Australia for a lot of my adult life but have lived and worked in Chile, India, Italy, Scandinavia and the U.K.

My journey started back in the late 80’s when I traveled to India as an, already seeking, 19 year old – knowing that there was so much more to life than I had been exposed to but not knowing where to find it. I traveled through the North of India drawn to Buddhist temples and communities finding my way to Nepal where I was fortunate enough to be in a small group that included a couple of people who seemed to me to be remarkably alive, light-hearted and present who told me all about their recent time at the Osho Ashram in Poona.  They could sense how curious I was and encouraged me to check it out. I was reluctant to visit a guru in India – especially one that had been all over the press as the head of a sex cult – but I was so touched by the openness of the people I had met that I eventually made my way across India to Poona. As soon as I heard him speak, I immediately resonated with Osho’s words. I fell in love with him and started to learn meditation and participate in all kinds of workshops. I also studied and practiced in Reichian Breath therapy and Craniosacral Therapy and from that time meditation and spiritual transformation became the central focus of my life.

I continued to visit the ashram over the next 10 years and was able to immerse myself in therapy groups, trainings and meditation practices. In the 90’s a small group of us co-created a process called The Path of Love in which I was a senior facilitator for 15 years. It was an intense and rich time of traveling as a team and facilitating this process on several continents.

Concurrently over that time, I attended personal, experiential and professional therapeutic trainings around the world – approaches that include Psychotherapy, Trauma Healing (Somatic Experiencing® and EMDR), Tibetan Buddhist practices, Mindfulness and Meditation, Addiction Counselling, Relational Gestalt, Group Therapy, Family therapy & Family Constellation and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, The Diamond Logos Teachings and The Hoffman Process.

In 1996, a wonderful therapist and friend, Vasumati (Sharon Hancock) introduced me to Faisal Muqaddam who is the founder of The Diamond Logos Teaching. She had invited Faisal to come and teach a group in Toscana, Italy where I was based at the time. I was asked to organise the retreats that over the next few years rapidly grew into four large groups that met annually. This ‘job’ gave me the unique opportunity to be close to Faisal as my mentor and friend while I gave sessions during the retreats to the participants and had the fortune to be present in all of the retreats in Italy over the next 10 years.

Although I have been immersed in the Diamond Logos teaching for all these years, it has taken me a long time to feel that I have personally integrated enough of the depth of the teachings to be ready to teach this profound work to groups.

In July 2020 Diamond Logos Australia began with the first group opening up to new students in Byron Bay in July 2020. This is an on-going group that meets throughout the year to deepen into and learn the exquisite map and inner embodiment of essence – our true nature.

In 2008, after all of the ‘alternative’ training, I returned to Australia to study psychotherapy to have a qualification that was more conventional. After completing a degree at the Jansen Newman Institute in Sydney I felt the need to return to my homeland and process some of my personal family story that I thought I had managed to escape from but was still not resolved. This was a time of healing and reconnecting with my roots, and while I was in the U.K I worked as an Addiction therapist at The Priory Hospital in London where I learned so much about the horror and destruction of the disease of addiction and the tools to recovery.

Since my return to Australia in 2012, I have trained to be a facilitator of The Hoffman Process Australia, that has its headquarters near my home in Byron Bay. I am currently a supervisor and senior facilitator and on the Hoffman process, and have a private practice from my home or online and teach the Diamond Logos teaching throughout the year.

I so appreciate having the fortune to work in the field of healing and transformation. I experience it an honour to accompany people to discover the depth and wonder of their true nature. My own self-inquiry and evolution of consciousness have been a life-long passion and I treasure the continued learning and deepening in my own understanding, meditation and awakening, while I accompany others  – it is something that will continue until my last breath … and perhaps even beyond.
